Mytopia goes mobile - branches out to iPhone, Blackberry and other devices

Mytopia map screenshotMytopia will soon be accessible via Blackberry, iPhone, PalmOS, Symbian, Windows Mobile devices. The social gaming website originally was only accessible from the official site and social networks like Facebook and Myspace. Mytopia Inc. announced at CTIA Wireless I.T. & Entertainment 2008 today (September 10, 2008) that the Mytopia beta had advanced to include mobile platforms.

This means that people with internet access on their Blackberries, iPhones or similar devices can now log-in and participate in Mytopia games with other mobile and PC users. They can take part in one of the fourteen free games (like All-In Poker, Chess Arena, MahJong Madness or Sudoku Master), chat with other players or cash in points earned from games on items.

Mytopia is free-to-play for people who access the site on a PC, but will have a fee to play on mobile phones and devices. The price hasn’t yet been announced, but people who choose to access Mytopia Mobile will be able to purchase a subscription or single games.
