Target gets exclusive version of Shaun White Snowboarding

When Shaun White Snowboarding comes out on November 16, 2008, you may want to stop by your local Target. At least, if you’re buying the PS3, Xbox 360 or Wii version of the game you will. A limited Target edition of the game is going to be sold, featuring extra locations, moves and characters.

Normally, the store-exclusive versions of games come with an unlockable code, which just unlocks a new item or outfit. This definitely isn’t the case in Shaun White Snowboarding. The two locations are Target Mountain, a whole new area to snowboard in, and a Target Chalet, to socialize in when you don’t feel like hitting the slopes and the game’s only indoor area. There will also be extra characters, jibs (snowboard tricks you do over terrain not covered in snow) and even extra scenes as well.

Shaun White Snowboarding comes out this November, and Target is currently carrying $5 pre-order cards in stores, which you can purchase to reserve your copy of the exclusive version. The Xbox 360 and PS3 editions of the game will be $59.99, and the Wii verison (Shaun White Snowboarding: Road Trip) will be $49.99. Standard editions of Shaun White Snowboarding are also being released on the DS, PSP, PS2 and PC on the same day as the next-gen versions.
