PSP Will Have a Digital Comic Reader

Sony has always tried to make your PSP more than just a portable game console, focusing on alternative leisure activities which have not always been fraught very well. The latest bid to join the club announced comes from GamesCom 2009, and a priori it sounds very interesting: a digital comics reader.

This tool will be available from next December in a number of countries. When it arrive, your PSP will available to take hundreds of works by two publishers like Marvel and IDW.

Many publishers will join later: both large size and independent nature, and it is estimated that the catalog will grow with 50 new titles each month. There have been no details yet on how much it cost to read comics on the PSP screen, something that undoubtedly will be important to know in order to assess whether or not the acquisition of this tool.

For old style comic reader, who prefer to read on paper, it will be misfortune, but I have no doubt that this service will awaken the sympathy of those who do enjoy to read digital comics. Here I leave you with a few pictures so you can see something more in depth look look this application.
