Pre-order Prince of Persia, get Limited Edition upgrade for free

Prince of Persia LE Box Art

I’ve been writing a lot about collector’s editions to some very popular titles but those games all required additional cash. It’s really one of those take-it-or-leave-it situations that mostly hardcore fans would respond to. In a twist of events worthy of a M. Night Shyamalan film, those who pre-order(ed) the new Prince of Persia game will receive the Limited Edition version automatically complete with a bag of goodies.

The package will include a special look into the making of the game, a digital mini-strategy guide published by Prima, digital art book, and the game’s soundtrack. A lot of these extra items may come on one disc given the word “digital” in many of the descriptions.

There may not be any figurines or a sword-shaped pen but you are getting way more additional content than any other game for no additional cost. For the record the Prince of Persia will be out in time for the Christmas 2008 for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
